GrADS

GrADS, Grid Analysis and Display System, is used to access, manipulate and visualize geophysical data. The latest and only version available, on the ERN, is 2.2.1.

UFS HPC Usage Example

GrADS can be used by running the following command executed in the terminal:

module load grads
With the module loaded, GrADS can be run as shown below:
grads
The grads_shell can be used to run the other utilities, such as: bufrscan, grib2scan, gribmap, gribscan, stnmap, can be run in the prompt shown after running grads_shell.
