Ubuntu

Ubuntu is a distribution of Linux based on Debian. The module makes variants of Ubuntu 22.04 and 24.04, with developer tools preinstalled, and without available.

Usage example

The default variant is Ubuntu 24.04, without development tools. If this is sufficient the following command executed in the terminal is enough to load the bundle:

module load ubuntu

The following example loads Ubuntu 22.04 with development tools

module load ubuntu release=22.04 +devel

The ubuntu_shell command can be used to access a shell in Ubuntu .
