Kraken 2¶

Kraken 2 is a taxonomic classification system using exact k-mer matches to achieve high accuracy and fast classification speeds. The kraken bundle packages the following software:

UFS HPC Usage Example¶

The following command can be executed in the terminal to load the bundle:

1	`module load kraken`

The kraken and bracken utilities can be run as shown below:

bracken
bracken-build
kraken2
kraken2-build
kraken2-inspect

The kraken_shell commmand can be used to access a shell in the kraken bundle.

1	`kraken_shell`
