Entrez Direct

Entrez Direct provides access to the NCBI's suite of interconnected databases. The bundle packages Entrez Direct version 22.1.

Usage example

The following command can be executed in the terminal to load the bundle:

module load entrezdirect

The utilities can then be run as shown below:

efetch
efilter
elink
esearch
nquire
transmute
xtract

The entrezdirect_shell command can be used to access a shell in the bundle.
