Lambda: the Local Aligner for Massive Biological DatA¶
Lambda is a local aligner that can be used for protein, nucleotide, and bisulfite searches. Some degree of compatibility with NCBI BLAST is offered, but with improved speed. The lambda bundle packages Lambda version 3.0.0.
Usage example¶
The following command can be executed in the terminal to load the bundle:
The lambda3 command can then be run as shown below:
The lambda_shell command can be used to access a shell in the bundle.
