CASA¶

CASA, the Common Astronomy Software Applications package, is used for data processing of radio telescopes. The version packaged is 6.5.5.

UFS HPC Usage Example¶

CASA can be used by running the following command executed in the terminal:

1	`module load casa`

With the module loaded, CASA can be run as shown below:

1 2	`casa mpicasa`

The casa_shell can be used to obtain a shell in the casa bundle

1	`casa_shell`

CASA is composed of many software components each with their own license.
