oneAPI

The latest Intel platforms using an open, standards-based programming model that delivers increased performance for HPC applications and hardware choice across CPU, GPU, and other accelerators. Two of the toolkits are provided as module variants, namely: base and hpc. The version packaged is 2025.0.1.

Usage example

The following command, executed in the terminal, loads the default hpc toolkit:

module load oneapi

To load the base toolkit, run the following command:

module load oneapi toolkit=base

Run the oneapi_shell command to access a shell in the bundle.

oneapi_shell

Once the oneapi prompt is displayed, all development tools and libraries can be used to compile, debug, and optimise applications.
