Rocky Linux

Rocky Linux is a distribution of Linux based on RHEL. The module makes variants of Rocky Linux 9 and 10, with developer tools preinstalled, and without available.

Usage example

The default variant is Rocky Linux 9, without development tools. If this is sufficient the following command executed in the terminal is enough to load the bundle:

module load rocky

The following example loads Rocky Linux 10 with development tools

module load rocky release=10 +devel

The rocky_shell command can be used to access a shell in Rocky Linux.
