Kaiju¶

Kaiju is used for the taxonomic classification of high-throughput sequencing reads. The kaiju bundle packages version 1.9.2.

UFS HPC Usage Example¶

The following command can be executed in the terminal to load the bundle:

1	`module load kaiju`

The Kaiju utilities can be run as shown below:

kaiju-gbk2faa.pl
kaijup
kaiju2table
kaiju-makedb
kaiju-addTaxonNames
kaiju-mergeOutputs

The kaiju_shell commmand can be used to access a shell in the kaiju bundle.
