Rocky Linux

Rocky Linux is a distribution of Linux based on RHEL. The module makes variants of Rocky Linux 8 and 9, with and without developer tools preinstalled available.

UFS HPC Usage Example

The default variant is Rocky Linux 9, without development tools. If this is sufficient the following command executed in the terminal will be enough to load the bundle:

module load rocky
The following example loads the Rocky Linux 8 with development tools
module load rocky release=8 +devel

The rocky_shell commmand can be used to access a shell in Rocky Linux.
