MetaPhlAn¶

MetaPhlAn is a tool for profiling the composition of microbial communities from metagenomic shotgun sequencing data with species level resolution. The metaphlan bundle packages version 4.0.6.

UFS HPC Usage Example¶

The following command can be executed in the terminal to load the bundle:

1	`module load metaphlan`

The MetaPhlAn utilities can be run as shown as below:

1 2	`metaphlan metaphlan2krona`

The metaphlan_shell commmand can be used to access a shell in the metaphlan bundle.

1	`metaphlan_shell`
