NCBI Datasets¶

NCBI Datasets cli allows you to find and download sequence, annotation, and metadata for genes and genomes. The datasetscli bundle packages NCBI Datasets cli version 15.13.1.

UFS HPC Usage Example¶

The following command can be executed in the terminal to load the bundle:

1	`module load datasetscli`

The NCBI Datasets cli utilities can then be run as shown below:

1 2	`datasets dataformat`

The datasetscli_shell commmand can be used to access a shell in the datasetscli bundle.

1	`datasetscli_shell`
