BCFtools¶

BCFtools is a set of utilities that manipulate variant calls in the Variant Call Format (VCF) and its binary counterpart BCF. The bcftools bundle packages version 1.17.

UFS HPC Usage Example¶

The following command can be executed in the terminal to load the bundle:

1	`module load bcftools`

BCFtools can be run as shown below:

1	`bcftools`

The bcftools_shell commmand can be used to access a shell in the bcftools bundle.

1	`bcftools_shell`
